"Well, with that said and done, I would like to thank you all for everything and I do mean everything. Until next time-"
"Let's say goodbye with a smile, dear Just for a while dear we must part Don't let this parting upset you I'll not forget you, sweetheart
We'll meet again Don't know where Don't know when But I know we'll meet again some sunny day."

(UC verse)
My dearest Charlie,
Maybe if I had done things differently, tried to listen to God's instructions for unity from the start, it wouldn't have turned out this way. It's hardly fair that you don't get to at least see the peace you gave up your life for. But we did accomplish that… the first cycle out of a nameless number to pass the test, apparently.
We did it. You did it.
I did find your letters. Rosie wasn't aware of the box in your room as she wanted to leave it undisturbed, so I was the one to discover those. I guess there was a lot we never really talked about, huh? You're right that I've always dealt with my issues by avoiding them, and you're right that this only ever led to hurting the people I love. Especially you. …I'm taking steps to change that, now. One of those is asking Belphegor about therapy.
I did hear that you got to spend a bit of time with your mother, and I'm glad. You two missed out on a lot of time together over the past almost decade. We did decide on a name for your sibling based off your suggestions… we went with Morgan.
I'll spend the rest of eternity wishing I had done better, and that the end of the war hadn't meant losing you. I hope you know just how much your mother and I love and miss you… there are no words for that. But you have strong convictions, and you gave your all for them. Whether that was with the work you were trying to accomplish with the hotel, or trying to push for peace and unity between the realms. If there is only a single sentiment I could send and know that you'd receive it, it's this… I'm proud of you.
love, your father

Do you ever think that Divine Lucifer is a Harbinger because it shows Lucifer why staying in Heaven wouldn’t work?
//-ooc
Oooh you know that could be a good reason, it shows the other hims that had he stayed it wouldn’t change the Trauma that he gets from his family .. he would still be haunted by his older brother regardless .. since as a Harbinger Divine Lucifer has had to watch Michael kill thousands of other Lucifer’s over and over over while still tell himself that he’s different then those he’s the one that made it, he’s one of the good ones — so what if everyone sees the fallen when they look at him, so what if they see right through him and see a ghost of a person he has no connection to other then a shared name .
However the reason for the failed cycles is failed Unity if Lucifer staying in heaven didn’t bring unity and a fallen Lucifer still didn’t as shown through many diff cycles then what exactly is his purpose .. is he supposed to fall or stay ?
I think it does show fallen Lucifer that staying wouldn’t have changed things but falling also didn’t so in the end maybe it’s not what happened to him that is the deciding factor but how he chooses to deal with it and rise to the occasion .

"Saint Pentious, dear..? Would you like to meet your God daughter?"
Lilith is holding a little bundle in her arms, wrapped in a purple blanket. Inside was a demonic little girl with vibrant pink eyes and light purple skin.
"This is Morgan. Careful, she likes to reach out and grab things at random."
"Your Majessssty."
Pentious approaches the Queen and the incredibly tiny bundle in her arms carefully, not wanting to frighten the new baby. He slithers up to the pair coyly, giving a slighter bow than usual. His hood flares from surprise as the Queen holds out the most valuable treasure Pentious can think of. He blinks in disbelief.
"Oh- Are you sure? Of- of course, if you'll let me."
He has never been so careful with his claws, not with any contraption, not with any chore. He reaches for the princess, Morgan, and tenderly brings her to his chest.
He can't recall if he has ever held a baby before. It had been such a long time since he last even saw one, and he couldn't take his eyes off her. That disproportionately large head, her minuscule fists. Her observant eyes. It doesn't take long for him to feel his own well up at the sight. Of the powdery scent and the pride he feels radiate from her mother.
"Um- Good afternoon Your Highness. I'm Sir Pentious, your godfather- it's a pleassssure to meet you."
He smiles, a hitched breath escaping as he meets Lilith's eyes.
"Your Majesty, she is perfect, absssolutely brilliant."

Caim twirled the spear in her talons, her gaze narrowing as she watched it spin. While the battle had been exhilarating near its end, the corvid had been hoping for more. To be specific, she had been hoping for more acknowledgement and compensation for her participation in the battle. After all, she put her life on the line for a society that cared little for her, and if she had perished, she would be leaving behind her wife and son. Then again, if she didn't, who was to say her family on earth would have been spared.
She was safe. They were all safe, and that should have been enough.
As the spear continued to turn, a feeling of emptiness and longing began to rise in her chest. She had been foolish to expect anything from the king of the goetia, and she had been foolish to throw away a whole part of herself to begin with. The thank you had rung hollow in her ears, and the more she swealt on it, the more a new feeling rose within her.
She had been used.
"I should have stayed out of it," she muttered, her gaze narrowing further as anger slowly began to take hold. She had been excommunicated from the goetia before the fight, so she had next to no reason to have even gone. In fact, it would have been well within her right not to lend her aid at all. The only reason she bothered was for Andrealphus, her father, and for her wife and son. Caim wanted them to be safe and protected, and if the enemy hadn't been stopped, all of them would have been wiped out eventually.
Letting out a long sigh, Caim slowly let her anger go. She couldn't dwell on this any longer; she had a child to care for.

Get up.
His forehead rises from the ground, the Seraph pushing himself from the barren earth.
What good had they ever done, the bruises on his knees and the prayers that flowed from his lips?
He is not a thing of peace, of softness and kindness and love. He is a thing of war, of blood and sinew and offal.
Judgement made manifest, the Executioner, the Blade. A wrathful right hand upon creation, again and again, without pause.
He showed you pity while I demand PIETY.
He had not been gifted the sight, the trumpet, the lyre, the scale. He had been gifted the sword, an army, the strength of arm and voice to wield them both.
No use is there in groveling on his knees. He is needed on his feet. Rage long held dormant, defiance so long put into check. There is no begging to the floodwater, no pleading to the locust, no bargaining with the beast.
Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth.
I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.

Finale
The desolate fields of what was once Eden, a tree fallen, apples scattered everywhere, all never knowing their own Cycle as a feeling strikes the Wrathful One. Among the now horrifically lonely and abandoned Eden, the very first Eden where they had all fought, an impossibility took place.
In the forever stillness of the atmosphere... A light breeze washed over the pale features of the Creator. Soon after, a powerful domino effect of what he never expected to see began to ripple across this battlefield. It started with the leaves, rustling through the new breeze that had kicked up and with that breeze came color. All forms of beauty once again coming back to his paradise and soon the chirping of birds, running water and... A fawn, walking in the distance, a mother duck leading a trail of its children.
As the man who causes miracles, never before had he been in the middle of one. It was beyond description and caused his chest to burn and his eyes to water and spill tears. The Creator knew why, he knew how and it was only one conclusion.
Cycle Four-Trillion Six-Hundred Fifty Four-Million Three-Hundred Twenty Two-Thousand Nine-Hundred Forty Four... Defeated Mother.
It was then that he looked up, the fated battle of Lucifer and Michael from the very first Cycle, the one that acted as a timer for the heroic Harbinger's to beat the God. The sounds of bloodshed, yelling and grieving had stopped, replaced with the sight Father had forgotten about. The final moments of this Cycle before the reset, an act he once took as defiance from the brothers, now replaced with a new understanding as it took falling from his own grace to understand.
There, in the air, through tears, blood and a final goodbye was the last desperate hug between doomed brothers. It was unfortunate that only one would move on to see more creations while the other perished here.
A bright flash of light that consumes everything and everyone blinds the Creator and soon he stands in a white void all alone. That was until-
"Had your fun?" The top hat wearing creator forms next to the Wrathful One.
"Fun. This was not fun. But you knew that already." He shifts uncomfortably, moving to face himself. "Congratulations, I suppose a celebration is in order?"
Big G tilts his head forward slightly as if to bow. "Yes. But not a celebration for us. It's been... An experience. Now we can finally rest and allow them to take it from here. Any last words before you depart?"
The Wrathful One stands tall, his height being far larger than his counterpart and where he looks isn't to Big G to speak his words, it is off somewhere else, staring into eyes that couldn't exist, that have been here the whole time, that had been following along and growing in so many ways.
"...You have done incredible. Congratulations and... Farewell."
The form of the Wrathful One begins to blow away slowly and before the being is gone from sight, four words leave what's left of him. "We will meet again."
With the dissipation of his other part leaving Big G alone, his first instinct is to go and see them. The victors, the winners, sinners, Angels and Demons however, he stops and stands still. His cane holding firmly in one hand and a firm, finale smile growing. They had won, there was no reason for him to go back. Life will move forward without him intervening anymore. So there was only one last thing to really do...
Father, God, Big G, takes off his hat and looks at it one final time. It's forever pristine condition doing well to reflect his own forever existence which... Is the reason why he had to depart with it. The hat will forever be a reminder to all of what they had fought and fought for.
The final snap, something so powerful, heard by no one and nothing, used to send that hat away. It would arrive at a new home, a new destination where he was sure would be put in a safe space. The arrival of the hat would signify both a victory and a goodbye. In a mere moment, it was gone, landing only at the top of the new High Seraphim's desk in Heaven along with God's last words.
"You all have done what has never been accomplished in all of existence. You have beaten God. Do well with this life you have fought for. For the final time. Farewell."
#so sayeth; ic#verse: unholy crusade#With this; The main story ends.#Thank you all for waiting and participating. It has been one hell of a ride.#You all have done me so proud.

Why do you dislike Adam so much? I think all of us were a victim of pur own circumstances, but why is Adam singled out?
“I’ve answered this before so I will make this brief. He does it to himself. Those who seek attention may get the attention they deserve.”

Cain wasn’t the only human. Adam was also human!WHY DO YOU HATE YOUR OWN SON???
“I suppose you’re right…….”
“Oh well, no harm done. Yes, Adam too was once human. The first in fact. Bravo. A celebration is in order. 🎉🎉🎉”

Does this mean that Father is back? Not the Wrathful One anymore? Or are both existing simultaneously?
“We have always-“
“Existed simultaneously.”

Anything you'd want to change in the UC main verse? Or even the Harbingers?
((I touched on it before, but I think Charlie's death I would have liked to have done better. Maybe not quite as rushed even though it made sense for her to want to have participated in that battle. Or maybe actually did more to make it more satisfying or have more impact? idk

Would Charlie be proud of how we have done against Mother?
((As long as it means the cycle survives and she doesn't lose everyone she knows and loves here and now

What was the biggest thing you didn’t expect coming out of UC? Either a surprise that happened, a character interaction
((Pretty much the whole concept of the Harbingers. Because I was brought in to be this cycle's Charlie, I thought my role was done when she died but then @hxly-fxther was all "Hey, do you still want to do stuff?" and then I was brought to this whole other discord server with people who I had no idea were part of the upcoming thing. The rest was history. And I ended up bonding with them SO MUCH that I actually met @cast-you-dxwn and @themosthatedbeingg irl last weekend.

Harbinger Charlie: if you could exchange your position in your cycle with someone else that isn’t Adam (since he’s obviously part of your experience) who would it be? Is there anyone you’d give your fate to if you could?
"It wouldn't be the same had it been anyone else. Not like Adam could have done that to Lute, or anyone else to Adam. And then as far as anyone on my side, there's nobody that he would likely have seen as worthy of subjecting that to. He would have just killed them outright. But... as awful as it was, I'm glad it was me and not someone else."

// best & worst UC moments
((I think my best UC moment was my Harbinger fight with Adam and Lute. It turned out WAY better than I could have ever have hoped for.
Worst is... really hard since there's not specific points I really dislike. Though I think I wish I could have been more effective with Cycle Charlie.
